Once a month request your Bank to provide you with your account statement in order to control all withdrawals. Otherwise if later you identify transactions that were not implemented by you or you have implemented these transactions, but the amount does not reconcile with the real transaction amount, or the amount was withdrawn twice, you cannot argue the legitimity of the transactions.
As soon as possible, keep the Bank informed on any change in your phone number and other contact information. Availability of accurate data is in your best interests, since the Bank runs software to monitor card transactions and it is often necessary to obtain customer's confirmation regarding doubtful transactions. Remember, your card may be temporarily blocked by the Bank if there is a threat that your card may be used for embezzlement.
Irrespective of any potential software limitations applied by the Bank, the technique of using a card makes it possible to have an overdraft of any type of card account. In order to avoid such situations, and in order to avoid penalties imposed on unauthorized overdrafts, compare the balance on your card account with the amounts of the implemented transaction, as well as the commission fee charged by the Bank.
