4. ATM Has "Seized" Your Card

First of all make sure that the ATM has really "seized" the card, since due to communication problems the transaction may take longer time than expected. If the ATM is ready to service another customer, which may be shown on the ATM's monitor, then your card is really "seized". Presumably, you have thrice entered a wrong PIN-code or the card is "seized" for other reasons.

In this case you should call to "Areximbank-Gazprombank Group" CJSC, in order to clarify the situation of «seizure" of your card (it is advised to block the card especially when the card is "seized" in an ATM of another bank). Never turn to third persons for assistance, who may advise you to enter the PIN-code once again or tell it to the Bank over the phone, since there have been embezzlement cases when "the fact of seizure" was shammed, thereafter, the embezzlers (who as a rule are at the ATM during the implementation of the transaction), extract the card with special devices.

If the card delay is attributed to the crash of other bank's ATM, rather than the card blocking or wrong entry of PIN-code (for more than three subsequent times), you may obtain back your card from the bank's head office submitting you identity card.  In the case your card is "seized" in an ATM belonging to other bank, you may try to get it within two business days from the given bank, submitting your identity card. Still, it is sometimes more efficient to re-issue your card rather than to obtain it back.
