All depositors, upon their option, may obtain free Visa Electron and MasterCard Maestro cards, while other types of cards are issued at 50% discount. If needed, the Bank extends overdrafts to depositors at 85% of the invested deposit, and in the event the amounts are in different currencies, the overdraft is granted at 70% of the invested deposit amount.
Deposit income is subject to taxation (at 10%).
In the case of early repayment of the deposit, the deposit amount is re-calculated with application of the following interest rates:

The repayment of the deposits of individuals placed with the banks operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia is insured by the Deposit Insurance Fund.
Guaranteed deposit amount
1. The amount of a duly guaranteed deposit:
a) if a depositor has only a dram deposit with an insolvent bank, the guaranteed deposit amount is AMD 4,000,000,
b) if a depositor has only an FX deposit with an insolvent bank, the guaranteed deposit amount is AMD 2,000,000,
c) if a depositor has both dram and FX bank deposits with an insolvent bank and the bank deposit denominated in Armenian drams is above two million drams, the Fund guarantees only the dram deposit up to four million drams;
d) if a depositor has both dram and FX bank deposits with an insolvent bank and the bank deposit denominated in Armenian drams is below two million drams, the Fund guarantees the entire dram deposit and the FX bank deposit at the amount equaling the difference between two million drams and the reimbursed dram deposit.
2. All deposits of a single depositor with the same bank denominated in Armenian drams are considered a single deposit, and all bank deposits of a depositor with the same bank denominated in foreign currency are considered a single deposit.
